I am a student studying in Hong Kong. Just received an email from Maret School, and I am on the waitlist for Grade 10. Hi Tommy,
Congratulations you were able to move one step further towards your goal. I've noticed that you are still put on the waitlist for 9th grade. Do you have alternatives? Are you willing to consider an excellent school with boarding in New York?

Yes , It's good to contact your interviewer and tell him or her about your wish to apply for grade 9, it's a little late at this stage but there is no harm to try.
