The fit of the student to each school is most important. Some schools are better for certain students than other schools. You need to do research on the schools to find out more. The 3 schools that you mentioned are fine. But it also depends on the grades, scores, extracurricular, essays and recommendations, whether your son will get in or not. Maine is very nice and quiet, but still close to Boston. There's lots of lobster to eat there!
