原文：Thank you for your interest in VCS. VCS is nationally recognized as a premier school offering an outstanding elementary and college preparatory program in the humanities, sciences, and technology. VCS offers sixth through 11th grade placements for international students. Our online application for the 2017-2018 school year is open at www.vcs.net. We do not have an ESL program so we have a TOEFL/iTEP requirements. All international students must attend class with American students and as premier college preparatory school our class are fast paced and highly academic. You do not have to have a local guardian to apply to our school. If you are accepted, we will help you find a homestay.
Once you have filled out the application and paid the $100.00 application fee, you will be able to download and print the required application documents from the application checklist. These documents include: a handwritten student questionnaire, 2 handwritten essays, a parent or clergy statement, official transcripts for the past 2 years along with the first grading period of the current year, 2 teacher recommendation letters completed by an English teacher, and an additional teacher in the subjects of science, history or religion, 1 math recommendation letter, an official English proficiency test score sent directly from the testing agency, a financial statement, an immunization record and a passport. Transcripts and teacher recommendation letters must be sent directly from the school in stamped, sealed envelopes. All other documents can be scanned and emailed to me. Interviews take place in February and March are only granted to qualified to students once all application documents have been submitted and reviewed.
