Off Campus Programs – for Boarding students only

An International Student Administration Fee of $500 is charged annually to all international students and is payable upon acceptance.

Boarding Student tuition covers all Off-Campus Program fees except for student airfare.

Off-Campus Day Student Fee: $9,900
 

Students are responsible for:

• Laptop, calculator (see technology requirements)
• School supplies (see suggested items)
• Dorm supplies (see packing list)
• Gear associated with your sport/afternoon activity (examples: stick, cleats, mouthguard, water bottle, bike, helmet, skis, boots)
• Transportation to/from school
• Costs associated with Weekend Activities
• Day students are responsible for the cost of Off Campus Programs 

Optional items for purchase:

• Warm up clothing or travel gear for sports teams
• Proctor apparel

Academic fees:

• Materials for some arts classes (ceramics)
• Private music lessons
• PSATs, SATs, ACTs
• Sometimes field trips 

Other fees:

• Flu Shots
• Transportation to local doctor appointments
• Charter bus to Boston on travel days
• Prom
• Yearbook

*Additional fees and charges will be included in your monthly statement and billed through your FACTS account electronically.
 

There are no additional fees associated with the majority of our afternoon activities, however, the following do have additional costs for the 2024-2025 school year:

• Eastern USS/FIS Skiing ($3,300 + race costs). Fee for 2024-2025 TBD.
• Alpine Skiing - Varsity/JV ($900)
• Developmental Skiing/Snowboarding ($900)
• Competitive Freeski/Snowboarding ($2,700). Fee for 2024-2025 TBD.
• Rowing ($500*)
• Equestrian Competition ($600*) - must have own horse and board at Seery Hill
• Fall/Spring Horsemanship ($750*)

*Fees subject to change based on facility charge.

The Tuition Insurance Plan, by Board of Trustee policy, is the only means by which any tuition refund will be made for students who leave school before the end of any academic year for any reason, whether such departure is voluntary or involuntary.

Participation in the Plan is required and will be billed automatically on your annual statement. You may opt out of the Plan if your tuition is paid in full prior to September 1st by declining in writing to Cheryl Nestler. The School strongly recommends this insurance to all families regardless of the payment plan you select. The cost is 1.3% of the tuition. Tuition insurance is provided by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. Please find enclosed the Tuition Insurance Plan Brochure. We cannot grant a refund for the cost of the tuition insurance premium after September 1, 2024. Please read the brochure from A.W.G. Since its inception in 1848, Proctor Academy has been dedicated to providing educational opportunities for residents of Andover. Recognizing this centuries-old commitment to the community, the Andover Grant Program was established to assist qualifying longtime residents by offering additional tuition assistance for day enrollment at Proctor.

To be considered for an Andover Day Grant, candidates must have met all standard admissions criteria, have been residents of Andover for at least four years prior to enrollment, and qualify for need-based financial aid through their Clarity Financial Aid Application.

There is no separate application process for the Andover Day Grant; eligibility is determined during financial aid review and families will be notified of their grant status when they receive their financial aid decision. The amount of assistance varies based on individual need.
